Security Officers

Detailed job duties are site specific and will be conveyed upon successful employment. General job duties include:

  • Submit Daily and/or Incident Reports
  • Foot, Vehicle, and/or Bike Patrol
  • Maintain High Profile Visibility of the Job Site to Serve as a Visible Deterrent
  • Observe and Report Any and All Suspicious Activities
  • Notify Appropriate Law Enforcement Agency and/or Emergency Personnel as Needed
  • Ability to Remain Calm, Reasonable, and React Quickly in Emergency Situations
  • Ability to Communicate with Potentially Aggressive Clients, Visitors and Employees

**All Security Officers are required by the State of Texas to be licensed through the Texas Department of Public Safety Private Security Bureau. Fore more information please visit their website at

Job duties include:

  • Escorting visitors to proper area of hospital
  • Must log in names of person(s) escorted
  • Ability to communicate with clients, visitors and employees

Employment Requirements

Candidates must meet the following basic qualifications:

    • Must be at least 18 years old
    • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
    • Must have a valid TEXAS ID or Driver’s License
    • Must have reliable transportation
    • Must be able to work any and all shifts including days, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays
    • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
    • Customer service experience preferred, but not required
    • Must be able to pass an extensive background check including criminal history, fingerprinting, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle check if applicable
    • Must NOT use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test and other health screenings
    • May be required to provide a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if you were in the military
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen or have a valid work permit
    • Must be able to physically stand, walk or patrol throughout shift
